Professional Designations

Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC)

Since 1927, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. The designation helps individuals build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, the CLU® designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant®): The ChFC® designation has been a mark of excellence for almost thirty years and currently requires nine college-level courses, the most of any financial planning credential. Average study time to earn the ChFC® exceeds 450 hours. Required courses cover extensive education and application training in financial planning, income taxation, investments, and estate and retirement planning. Additional electives are chosen from such topics as macroeconomics, financial decisions for retirement, and executive compensation. ChFC®designees must meet experience requirements and adhere to continuing education and ethical standards. The credential is awarded by The American College, a non-profit educator with an 85-year heritage and the highest level of academic accreditation.

Retirement Income Certified Professional® is a designation awarded by the American College. This designation helps focus clients from an accumulation oriented mindset to one of income distribution. Evaluating and monitoring the different strategies available to families and professionals is key to living life well in your later years. Awareness of the various lifecycles of retirement and rethinking what retirement is and is not from an income and time perspective allows Christian Giardini to offer a more realistic planning approach.

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®) certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

 

Associations and Memberships

Christian Giardini is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), a national nonprofit organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide, through its federation of over 900 state and local associations. Founded in 1890, NAIFA is the nation's largest financial services membership association.

 

Christian  is also a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (2007-2016). MDRT is The Premier Association of Financial Professionals. Founded in 1927, MDRT provides its members with resources to improve their technical knowledge, sales and client service while maintaining a culture of high ethical standards.
